Barn Dance

Friday, May 25, 2007, 7:00pm until 10:00pm

The Lands at Hillside Farm Museum Barn
Admission is $7 for adults, $18 for families.

Tie up your dancing shoes and meet the gang for an evening of energetic dancing with groups of other dancers in old-fashioned reels and sequences. Afraid you don't know the steps? Don't worry! People of all ages are welcome and can learn the dance steps in no time at all!

Ice Cream and Healthy Drinks will be available. Dave Colestock will be our dance caller.

The Hillside BarnStormers, comprised primarily
by the Warrington Family (Jean, Peter, Ben, and Lucy), and friends will provide the music for the evening. Originally from our area, they recently moved to the Philadelphia area. They continue to play for the big contradance "reunion" every January in Dallas, PA. Their band includes fiddle, bass guitar, and keyboard.

Dress in casual clothes. Skirts for women will be admired, but not required. Bring a sweater in case the evening is cool. We suggest sneakers or flat shoes because we'll be dancing on a wood-plank barn floor.
